What is Advanced Driving
Advanced driving is using all your observational skills to be able to see and anticipate what other road users are going to do. Always to be travelling at the right speed in the right gear for the road conditions.
When you have tried and mastered the art of Advanced Driving you will wonder how you managed before. It is a proven fact that Advanced Drivers are the safest on our roads and insurance companies recognise that fact by offering lower premiums to Advanced Drivers.
You can either take an advanced course to increase your awareness of what is happening around you on the road or just to be more fuel efficient, or you can elect to take the IAM (institute of Advanced Motorists) test conducted by either a serving or retired class 1 traffic patrol police officer.
